The Cold War Museum®

The Cold War Museum, founded in 1996, aims to preserve Cold War history, educate the public, and honour veterans.

I created a full visual identity for the museum with a modern, bold look that reflects the tension and chaos of the Cold War era. The red and blue colour palette represents the two sides of the conflict. Blue for the Western Bloc, including the United States and NATO, and red for the USSR and the Warsaw Pact.

The logo combines a filled star and an outlined star. The filled star represents the United States, and the outlined one represents the Soviet Union. Together, they form a symbol of the Cold War, two opposing forces locked in a long and complex conflict.
